This post is about Manually configuring packet data settings in Any GPRS enabled Handset with BSNL's SIM (2G or 3G) (Airtel, Idea, Reliance) BSNL Name of the Setting: BSNL or whatever you want Access Point : bsnlnet                      this should be in small letters Home Page: www.google.com Network Type : IPv4 (if Option Available) Ccurrently internet can be accessed through mobile without entering PROXY SERVER & PROXY PORT.So, just disable it. If your CellPhone has preferred Access Point option then Set it to NO option. And leave all the other fields empty. Since all Micromax, Spice,Lemon etc generic Os Mobiles Have almost same internet settings. Press Menu >Goto web(or wap in Some Mobiles)> (A) First Configure DATA ACCOUNT      goto Data Account>GPRS>Select any setting>         Edit ...

    Press Menu > Settings A.      Connectivity  > Packet Data > Packet Data Settings > Active access point      Select Any Access Point and Activate it.      Then Select Edit active access point. Select Alias for access point . Then name it bsnlnet (or Whatever you Want). Then Press OK. Select Packet data access point. Then type bsnlnet press OK.
